FAQ

Ceremony questions

Have a protocol document? Send it with your enquiry.

Can you rehearse with our protocol team?

Yes. We prefer to rehearse on the day itself, ideally 3–4 hours before the ceremony starts. A rehearsal that runs longer than 4 hours, or one held on a different day, is charged as an additional cost.

How long does a procession usually take?

It depends on the ceremony — a procession can be short or long, and we'll match your programme.

Can you perform over several sessions in one day?

Yes, though there may be an additional cost. Let us know your session times and we'll confirm with you first.

Do you need a stage, power or a holding room?

Usually not. A holding room is helpful, though — it gives the band a place to change into uniform, wait before the ceremony and keep our instruments.

How early do you arrive before the ceremony?

Normally 1–2 hours before the ceremony, so we have time to tune our instruments and change into uniform.

Planning a convocation?

Send your dates, venue and number of sessions — we reply within 24 hours.
